Do you remember Rose, Dorothy, Blanche, and Sophia?  They started something.  It’s become a great idea for a group of mature women to live together, and it’s called a “Golden Girls Home.”  These are women who share their homes with other women as friends and companions.

"The Golden Girls Network is a place of safety and integrity for each woman's mind, body, and spirit. We are a supportive and nurturing network which improves the quality of life and enhances self-reliance for single mature women by connecting them through shared living and social networking.

We partner with our members to develop this lifestyle through member-based activities and leadership. Recognizing that warmth, kindness, and passion will shape us as a community of goodwill, generosity and presence, we affirm and promote honesty and authenticity in our communications, words that are supportive and caring, a welcoming and non-judgmental attitude, respect for each person's boundaries, and a focus on listening to one another."

What is a Golden Girls' Home?

We've taken a great idea and made it a reality.  We bring women together through housing, networking, and social activities, and it’s called a “Golden Girls’ Home.”  It’s women who share their homes with other women as friends and companions.  And yes, sometimes we sit around the kitchen table and talk about the same things….and someone usually has something going on in her life that needs a gentle ear….
